About Me

My photo
Wendi McCormick Baird
Central Texas, Texas, United States
I am a 5th generation Native Texan. My 3 sisters and I were born and raised in Texas, as were our parents, our grandparents, great-grandparents, and great-great-grandparents. Our roots run deep in the Lonestar State. And our family likes nothing more than to get together and have a good time! I'm frequently asked by friends and neighbors who are new to Texas about places to visit and things to do here in the Lonestar State. So I decided to write about some of our favorites. Many of these are long-standing traditions -- places that have been a family favorite for several generations. Others are hole-in-the-wall gems that we've discovered over the years. But all are uniquely Texas!
